Mama Wilfrida's Childrens Home Mama Wilfrida’s Children’s Home is a Christian orphanage for the destitute children in the vast Nyando & Kisumu districts in Western Kenya region. The home has been registered by the government and is the mission arm of the Believers Fellowship Church, in Kenya. God spoke to Pastor Samson Nyameche and gave him a vivid vision to commence this orphanage to cater to such children just by faith. The death toll is alarmingly high in these districts. According to the results record of Aids scourge research, approximately two hundred people die every day from this disease. After their parents’ death, children cannot continue to live alone at their respective residences, irrespective of them being alive. That’s how we came in to offer a Christian –spirit filled home, education, and basic parental care as they grow and hence give them opportunity to fit in the society. Currently the home has fifty children ranging from five years to thirteen years old with a full time staff of seven personnel who’re all born again believers & qualified to work with children.
